I’ve got nothing new. I’ve been checking out CS3. So that’s occupying my computer time and my poor old mistress, WordPress, has suffered. Sorry Madam. I’ll give you some love, but my heart isn’t in it.

I’ve just finished reading India by Stanley Wolpert. Super nice history of India… I’m kind of into India these days. I’m not sure what started it. I think it was the food. I loves me some Indian food! It could have also been the fantastic Sikh exhibit I saw at the Smithsonian in February. Regardless, it’s my new thing. I want to go to Amritsar. It looks pretty amazing. I’m also in the process of reading Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie… that kind of contibuted to my recent India interest as well. It’s really really great, but I stopped reading it to read India so I understood what the heck was going on. It’s so deep and there’s so much complex religious tension. I understand a little better now.

Started a couple of new paintings and I’m working on a public art project with some friends. I want to try wheat pasting. I think I may buy some rolls of paper and do some one-off paintings for pasting up around town. Wish me luck. I’ll post up the results!
