Whew, Artshow!
It’s kind of silly, but I’m really happy after showing my painting at the art show! It made me feel great to see something I worked on up on a gallery wall. It made me feel great that my friends showed up to look at it. It made me feel challenged and inspired to do more. My painting wasn’t the best thing shown that night by a long shot, so it also made me feel a wee bit competitive to do better next time! Um, so here’s some pictures Sean sent me. Thanks Sean!

hug mom for me next time you see her. Actually, just hug everyone from every photo. An uncomfortably long hug. Then bury your head in their neck and in a breathy voice say “you smell nice”

I can’t begin to tell you how excited and proud I felt to see a piece of your art work on a museum wall. I still get goose bumps! It’s great to see you reaching into your creative side again and putting paint to canvas(wood). I know there is more great work ahead and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!
